Green Spa

Bamboo Garden Spa is a green spa:

*We use only all natural, chemical-free and environmentally safe products to clean the spa. We use chlorine free bleach, our laundry soap contains no dyes or perfumed and is biodegradable. (Our disinfectant grade cleaner is citrus based).

*Only all-natural ingredients and products (organic when possible) are utilized in our spa treatments and bath additives.

*Energy efficiency is important to us. Our water heater is a on demand tankless heater, saving 30 - 50%.

*We recycle all allowable glass, paper and plastic, adding up to 90% waste reduction.

*Paper cups have been replaced with plastic cups, and we provide filtered water in place of bottled water.

*Wherever possible, we use compact fluorescent light bulbs, which use 1/3 the energy of incandescent bulbs. These compact fluorescent bulbs are recycled.

*All of our bathroom paper products are 100% eco-friendly, Livi products. They are not recycled by one step better, they use sustainable plants.

*All toilets are low-flow, and faucets, tubs and showers are low flow, for a comfortable yet water efficient experience.

*Reducing waste, our appointment passes are now laminated so we reuse instead of needing to recycle, which in the long run reduces.

*Recycled office supplies, we finally found a source for both beautiful and 100% recycled gift bags and tissue paper. We encourage you to reuse them...many customers use them as lunch bags or for gifts.

We continue to make advances in our endeavor to be a deeper shade of green and are working towards implementing future changes: Solar panels, water reclamation, and expanding our organic products.

*We are proud Adopt-A-Highway volunteers removing roadside invasive weed.

*We provide year round employment and have internship programs to further our employees knowledge and possibilities.
